Simply, an installation of a verified Apple Configuration Profile makes the role here as an OTA update to the beta firmware. So you no longer need the PC. But as there is a risk of your content, we recommend a complete backup as always through iCloud or iTunes. What do you need to do?
- Step 1: Go to Safari web browser on your device and go with “bit.ly/2saB27a”
- Step 2: Tap on the Download
- Step 3: Select the device as iPhone when it asked to which type of device you are going to install the profile
- Step 4: Install and let the device gets rebooted
- Step 5: Then, go to the Settings app > General > Software Update and find “iOS 11 Developer Beta OTA” in waiting for the hit
- Step 6: Then Download and install as usual
